MEDITATION ...

From "Letters" of St. Margaret Mary virgin

We know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge

seems to me that the great desire of our Lord that His Sacred Heart is honored in a special way with the aim of renewing the anime effects of his redemption. In fact, his Sacred Heart is an inexhaustible source that seeks only to fill the hearts of the humble, empty, detached from everything and always ready to make sacrifices for pleasure. This divine heart is an inexhaustible source, from which descend continuously three channels: the first is that of mercy toward sinners and brings them the spirit of contrition and penitence. The second is that of charity and runs to bring relief to all destitute who are in some need, particularly those who tend to perfection: they will find the strength to overcome obstacles. The third is that of love and light to the perfect friends, that he wishes to join himself, to inform them of his science and his desires, because, one way or another, should consecrate themselves totally to his glory.
This divine heart is an abyss of good in which the poor have to pass on their needs. It 'an abyss of joy, where they have to throw all our sorrows. It 'an abyss of humiliation for our pride, an abyss of mercy for the unfortunate, and an abyss of love, where you have to bury all our miseries. You do not join in so that all your actions to the Sacred Heart of our Lord, beginning to lay out at the end to pay off. For example, you feel unable to pray? Be content to offer the prayer that the Divine Savior does for us in the sacrament of the altar. Give his outbursts to repair all your imperfections. Repeat your every action, therefore my God, this thing I do or suffer in the Sacred Heart of your Divine Son, and according to his holy intentions that I offer to fix all that is impure and imperfect in my work there. And so in different life situations.
When you'll have some pain, distress or humiliation, say to yourself: Accept what the Sacred Heart of Jesus, sends you to join him. Above all try to preserve the peace of the heart, so far beyond any treasure. The means of achieving this is to have no more free will, but that this divine Heart in place of ours, let us wish for anything that could increase his glory, happy to surrender and submit to him in all things. (Vie et Ceuvres 2, Paris 1915, 321. 336. 493. 554)

PRAYER

Bestow upon us, O Lord, the spirit of holiness that you gave to St. Margaret Mary, that we know the love of Christ which surpasses all understanding, and enjoy the fullness of divine life. Through Christ our Lord. AMEN.

MEDITATION ...

from "works" of St. Teresa of Jesus, virgin

(Opusc. "The Book of Life," chap. 22.6 to 7.14)
always remember the love of Christ

who as a friend to Jesus Christ and follows a captain so magnanimous as he certainly can endure all things for Jesus it helps and gives strength, is never less than sincere and loves. Indeed, it has always recognized and still see clearly that we can not please God and that he receive great graces, if not by the hands of the most sacred humanity of Christ, in which he said he was pleased.
I've done it many times experience, and he told me the Lord himself. I saw clearly that we through this door, if you want the Supreme Majesty shows us her big secret. We should not seek another way, even if you have reached the summit of contemplation, because this way you are unsure. It is from him, our Lord, we are all good. He will instruct us.
plot his life, it will most perfect model. What can we desire more, when we alongside such a good friend who never abandons us in our sufferings and misfortunes, as do the friends in the world? Blessed is he who loves him for real and always with you! We look at the glorious apostle Paul could not help but always have the name on the lips of Jesus, because he had clearly fixed in his heart. Known the truth, I considered and I have learned that some very contemplative saints, like Francis, Anthony of Padua, Bernard, Catherine of Siena, did not follow another path. We must walk this road with great freedom, abandoning ourselves in God's hands if he wants to build between the principles of his court, we gladly accept this grace.
Whenever then, we think of Christ, let us remember the love that drove him to give us so many graces, and the keen love that God has shown us in giving us a token of his affection with which he follows us: love it question love. So let us strive to take this truth and to arouse to love. If he was doing the Lord's grace, once, in the heart of imparting this love, everything becomes easy and we would do a lot, quick and effortless.
